Mr Williams is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, was first admitted as a lawyer in 2005 and has since maintained a busy international private practice.

He has legal expertise and experience in international tax and cross border litigation, and the needs of trans-national private clients – attending to their cross border corporate and commercial, asset protection and estate planning requirements.
With this professional grounding, Mr Williams recognized the strengths of a broader multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving and the provision of advisory services.
In April 2014 he assembled a team of international subject matter experts, founding Williams Colebrook with a focus on South East Asia, East Asia and Oceania.
Williams Colebrook maintains offices in both Melbourne and Hong Kong.
Mr Williams is an Enrolled Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and the Supreme
Court of Victoria, who was first admitted to practice in 2005.
In 2003 and 2004 he served on the University of Melbourne’s Trusts and Legislation Committee, which oversaw the governance of the University’s trusts of endowment.
He is a member of the Victorian branches of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the International Fiscal Association. He specialises in trusts and international tax.
He has facilitated
the establishment of, and acted as trustee in relation to, over 200 trusts
since 2007.
